Electrodes
In electrochemistry experiments single crystals are used as electrodes. A contact wire is typically attached to the back side of the crystal to measure or control the potential of the crystal during an electrochemistry experiment. SPL provides tailor made single crystals shaped to your requirements that have such an electrode wire attached to it using low power laser welding techniques. Ask for a contact wire to be attached when you fill out your details in the remarks section of our Request Quote page.
